Maria's was introduced by Jeannine-Marie St. Jacques of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, who got the seed from Maria Amazilitei of Romania and named this tomato after her.
This is a big plant which bears a good number of red beefsteak to oxheart tomatoes with outstanding flavor.Some may reach a pound in weight. Along with Wes, this is one of my favorite big slicers.
