Mrs. Schlaubaugh's Famous Strawberry

A very unusual horn-shaped dark pink tomato, Mrs Schlaubaugh's is a tomato I got from Glenn and Linda at Sandhill. It sets huge fruit on a wispy-leaved vine that you wouldn't think could support it. Fruit came early (about 70 days) and then after resting during the heat of the summer, it started back up with 3 or 4 of these beauties on the vine at a time. The flesh is solid, juicy and a deep red with very good flavor. There is virtually no core and little cracking, so the fruit is of excellent quality. It looks like a keeper to me.
