Coeur de boeuf orange

Coeur de Bouef was a bit later than I expected, but turned out to be one of the most productive orange hearts I have grown. I think it was waiting for the weather to warm up. By July, every time I turned around, there were a couple more ripe on the plants. They sold out quickly at the market where their fine flavor was in demand. Like all heart-shaped tomatoes the fruit is solid with very few seeds. The plant is slender, but less wispy and more vigorous than many other hearts. I had ripe fruit at 70 days, but I think 75-80 days is more realistic.
