Dedo de Moca (mild)

A Brazilian pepper, Dedo de Moca is used in a variety of regional dishes. Generally they are moderately spicy, but while the strain we grow has the distinctive flavor, there is virtually no heat. We fry them up like Italian peppers, pickle them, and use them in salads and sandwiches. They are thin-walled, but not tough. The bushy plants reach about 2 1/2 feet and are very productive. This pepper is a wonderful addition to your kitchen garden. A full packet contains 40-50 seeds.
