Siberische Appel Tomat

The name is Dutch, but this tomato is probably from Central Asia. The chunky fruit is beautifully marked with gold stripes on a pink/red background. Siberische Appel Tomat averages about 4 ounces and is very solid and firm, The fruit is quite heavy for it's size and hold well on the vine or on the counter. The flavor is smooth and balanced. The bushy, compact plants provide excellent leaf cover and are remarkably productive. I would fill a box every time I picked.
