Biquinho Rojo

The biquinho pepper is a cultivar of the Capsicum chinense pepper with all the wonderful flavor but less of the fiery heat. Biquinho peppers are small and a brilliant scarlet-red with a small beak on the end. They look like little toy tops. The plant makes a beautiful ornamental plant, and many biquinho plants grace Brazilian gardens and yards, but are rarely seen here in the United States.
