Rock Corral

Though named after Rock Corral Canyon in Arizona, I'm not sure this is a true wild pepper (chiltepin). Rock Corral sets numerous bright red, upright, conical peppers on a very compact plant. They keep well on the plant and I often wait until the end of the season and pick them all at once. This is another pepper you could raise in pots indoors. They begin to turn red in about 90 days and you can harvest them then. The spicy flavor is great in stews and chili. You don't need many!
