Rezha Macedonia pepper

Rezha Macedonia is a rare heirloom grown for centuries along the coast of the Adriatic. The peppers ripen from light green to a deep red. What is striking is the amount of 'corking' on the outer skin, which gives the peppers the appearance of being covered in frost. I dry these and turn them into flakes for sprinkling on all sort of dishes. Mild to medium hot in spiciness.
